History
ASIMUT software was founded in 2007 by Mads Skovbjerg Paldam, who came from a position as head of department at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus / Aalborg, and has since been on a trajectory of steady growth. A few noteworthy milestones among many were the implementation of the system at the Royal College of Music in London in 2011 and at the Juilliard School in New York in 2016.

Financial standing and track record
ASIMUT SOFTWARE ApS is a financially sound company audited annually according to Danish requirements by BDO Denmark. The company has maintained an unbroken record of financial solidity above 50% for the last ten years, as can be confirmed by the published annual statements on the website of the Danish Business Authority.
Since its founding in 2007, ASIMUT SOFTWARE ApS has maintained a record of constructive and reliable contractual relationships. The company has never been involved in a contractual dispute in which a client or business partner has challenged its fulfillment of contractual obligations, nor has it faced any related litigation or threats of legal action.
ASIMUT software has a track record of long-term client relationships. Since the company was founded in 2007, only two client institutions within its core market of higher education in music, performing arts and visual arts have discontinued their use of ASIMUT.
Security and data protection
ASIMUT software operates according to an information security framework based on a comprehensive risk assessment, including defined operational procedures and contingency plans. This framework’s adherence to GDPR and general best practice as well as ASIMUT software’s operational compliance with the framework is subject to auditing according to the ISAE 3000 standard by independent auditor BDO Risk Assurance, with a Type 2 audit statement issued annually since 2018 and made available to clients on demand.
